THE AGE OF LUXURY

The Age of Luxury

Oh! in another hundred years from now baby what will people say?
How will history judge us for the things we did today?
We’re killing the world that made us, faster than she can grow Oh! Oh! Yeah!
But I can’t tell you anything, that you, don’t already know.

This is the end … the end of the age of luxury
This could be the end … the end for you and me.
And can’t you see?
Everybody’s talking about a new world order in the land of democracy.
But if we don’t act now we deserve what we get in the twenty first century.
We’ve got to clean up the mess we’ve been making, if we are ever to survive.
Well you can praise the lord above if you want to
thank your lucky stars you are alive.

This is the end, the end of the age of luxury.
This could be the end, the end for you and me
and can’t you see, or a new beginning.
Yeah! to the twenty first century.
While there’s a chance of winning, come on let’s make some history
and it’s a new beginning … Yeah!
We’ve got to be free … we’ve got to be free.

In another hundred years from now baby what will people say?
How will history judge us for the things we did today?
We’re killing the world that made us faster than she can grow Oh! Oh! Yeah!
But I can’t tell you anything, that you, don’t already know.
